Buying an original painting, assumes that you buy the physical object to have and enjoy. You own the artwork, not the copyright to it.
The copyright remains with Muriel_ART by Patricia Muriel unless:
- They specifically signed over their copyright to the buyer.
- The copyright has expired.
Unless one of these circumstances applies, original piece buyer does not automatically acquire the right to reproduce a painting as prints, cards, posters, on clothing, etc, when they purchase a painting – you’re acquiring the right to own and enjoy the item but not the right to reproduce it.
This contract is governed by the laws of the European Community and such other laws which are applicable in the country where the consumer is resident.
Processing and Delivery
Please keep in mind that the delivery times we give you are estimates only. The actual delivery time will have many contributing factors. Please reach out to us before placing your order if it is time sensitive.
Muriel_ART processing policy is between 2-5 business days (excludes weekends). While Muriel_ART takes no responsibility for lost, damaged or stolen goods once your order is shipped, i will investigate your specific situation and ensure work towards an appropriate solution with the shipping provider.
I post all deliveries to the address you provide to me, so please – double check your message to ensure that the address is the right one. Muriel_ ART accepts no responsibility for deliveries made to incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by customers.
I ship WORLDWIDE, however some destinations are not yet available due to the impact of COVID-19.
IMPORTANT
Placing orders during the COVID-19 pandemic:
Presently shipping operators are experiencing international delivery delays to all destinations due to limited airline capacity and government restrictions as a result of COVID-19. What that means for me is that the delivery times may be longer than usual! Please use the dates provided as estimates only, not guarantees. And if your order is time sensitive (like a birthday present) – please send me a message first! I’d be able to advise you if there’s a risk it may be delayed based on your destination!
I occasionally provide special offers and promotions with exemption from shipping charges in certain circumstances. Muriel_ART reserve the right to modify, cancel or extend special offers and promotions regarding shipping costs.
IMPORT DUTIES AND TAXES
If your order will be shipped outside the European Community, be sure you understand of any import duties or taxes that may apply in the country to which the order is shipped. Muriel_ART will not be responsible for the payment of such costs or be responsible for replacing goods that may be seized by the customs of your country.
Order cancellations and returns
We accept order cancellations requested within 24 hours of purchase. Please note that refunds may take up to 10 business days to appear in your account.
Please choose carefully, as we do not accept returns if you simply change your mind. But if there is a fault with the product, we will happily exchange or replace your item including return postage.
